Tad aham bhaktya upahrtam asnami prayatatmanah !!
This is a very famous sloka of Bhagadvad gita. (chapter 9 verse 26).
Most of you all know its meaning :) Anyways, a recap of it is as follows.
If one offers me a leaf or a flower or a fruit or water with devotion (conditions apply :p), then I am going to accept it.
This sloka runs in my mind right now and that made me blog it today..
God actually wants us to offer the little that we may/may not have whatever but with devotion if it is offered definitely, he is going to accept our love towards him.
So what?? that's the question which would arise in our mind next.. Do u agree??
The fruitfulness of god accepting the true form of our devotion has no words to say.
As our karma goes, we have ups and downs in our life. As u sow , sow u reap an appropriate saying, In this world of drama, you may get involved in the role that you perform, You wish to enact the role where in u urself get too much attached and too much involved that u become depressed, emotional and helpless in some situations where u depend on others attention for ur own happiness :d which seems to be quite surprising and annoying but it is a sad truth.
To over come these problems, u need the help of a power, the power which makes u put urself into actions to overcome all the vices that u developed.Though u know that u have inculcated those vices (anger, lust, attachment (To me this is the most dangerous one)), it may be difficult for u to recover from them.
You may go through many books, listen to many speeches and attend spiritual or psychological lectures. Nothing can help u out. Only the saviour comes and pulls u away from these dangers. That may be in any form. In the form of friends. family members or it can be any1 or anything,,
After all we have offered him the things that we have and also knowing that the Prasad that we offer is going to be tasted by us at the end of the day. Despite, it is the lord who is going to accept our offering, return it to us and shower his blessings when we are lonely and in need.
Such a wonderful gift almighty is to us ..
Let us chant and put it in practise... The one who experiences and feels god's grace when they are in trouble can cherish this post.
